Shine Soup Kitchen
4th/5th Tuesdays each month
Mt. Airy partners with SHINE on the 4th and 5th Tuesdays of each month to prepare and serve a hot meal to those in need in our community. Space is limited to five, so sign up quickly.
Anderson School District 1
Arts Festival | March 6, 2025
Mt. Airy is partnering with Anderson School District One to provide an Arts Festival for the special needs kids in our community. We use the entire campus with areas for art, music, crafts, and an incredible talent show at the end. We need many volunteers to make this an engaging experience for the kids and their families.
Anderson School District 1
International Festival | March 14, 2025
Mt. Airy is partnering with Anderson School District One to engage with the internationals in our community. We will provide snacks, coffee, games, and the Gospel. This is a unique event where the world comes together. Don’t miss this opportunity to engage and to have fun with many nationalities. The event will most likely be at Palmetto Middle School. The church website will have the most recent updates for the event.
Connie Maxwell Children's Ministries

Mt. Airy will continue its partnership with Connie Maxwell by providing three camps in 2025. We go onsite to the Connie Maxwell facilities in Greenwood. The camps are scheduled from 10am to 2pm. However, volunteers will meet approximately one week before the event to be trained and will need to be at Connie Maxwell no later than 8:30am for final training and prayer. The team cleans up afterward. You can expect to leave around 2:30pm. This is a high-energy event suitable for all ages. We need many volunteers to work with the kids and house parents. NATIONAL MISSIONS
Boston (Charlestown)
250th Anniversary of Bunker Hill
June 12 - 16
Mt. Airy will return to Charlestown, MA, alongside our partner, Christ Church Charlestown. This year marks the 250th anniversary of Bunker Hill, and we will engage with the community through crafts, face painting, food, and fun. Additionally, we will participate in the Bunker Hill Day Parade by pulling floats and handing out treats to parade attendees. The estimated cost for church members ranges from $900 to $1,000 (the church covers the remaining portion). There will also be time for sightseeing, and you will be introduced to our new church partner in Hyde Park. Please see Rob if you need financial assistance.

Mt. Airy is partnering with the North American Mission Board (NAMB) to expand the reach of the Gospel in Boston. We have been praying for the right church planter, and God has blessed us with Pastor Olu. His dedication to reaching the nations for Christ is truly inspiring, and his courage is genuinely uplifting. There is only one opportunity to be the first. Will you help us connect with the Hyde Park community, support Pastor Olu and his family, and be a part of God’s work in greater Boston? St. George, Utah
New Partner Church
July 13 - 18 | October 5 - 10
Mt. Airy has prayed atop a hill overlooking the city and through its streets, asking God to provide a means for His Church and Gospel to be shared in this challenging area. As only God can, He has sent a church planter, fully trained by the North American Mission Board (NAMB), with a heart for the St. George area of Utah. James and Jolene Phelps were formerly LDS (Mormon) Church members. With God’s guidance and power, they are uplifting others who are struggling with the LDS Church and have recently left, all while holding on to the hope of Jesus Christ. This work is groundbreaking. You will be the “tip of the spear.” We will also include some sightseeing, as four national parks are within easy driving distance of St. George. This is a beautiful region of the country, and we invite you to join us in bringing the Gospel to St. George, Utah. The estimated cost for church members is between $1,100 and $1,200 (the church covers the remaining portion). Please speak to Rob if you need financial assistance.
WORLD MISSIONS
Jaqué, Panama
May 23 - 31
Mt. Airy will partner with the International Mission Board to share the Gospel with those in the jungles along the Panama and Colombian borders. You'll experience Panama like few have before. We will journey through the Darién Gap, the only land bridge between North and South America. Afterwards, we will take a boat along the Panamanian coast until we arrive in Jaqué. We'll stay at a camp, meet the missionaries and indigenous peoples trained to bring the Gospel into the most challenging areas of Colombia, and then travel with them by motorized canoes to visit several villages. We will actively share the Gospel, work with children, and witness the Church in action, experiencing what it must have been like in the Book of Acts. You will pray differently for the unreached and our missionaries when you leave Jaqué. The estimated cost is between $1,400 and $1,500 (with the church covering the remaining balance).
