  • Allison Taffer - Director of Preschool

I was born and raised in Sumter, SC.  I graduated from Lander University in May, 1985, with a degree in Elementary Education.  My husband Ron and I have three children, Grant, Anna and Daniel.   I have been involved in lay ministry since 1980, serving and teaching both adults and children the truths of God's Holy Word.  As I grow in my daily walk with Christ, I find it increasingly important to share my passion for His truth to the ones that Christ referred to as His "little ones." Establishing them in God's word is both their future and the future of the Church. John 8:32: "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

  • Megan Partin - Director of Children

I was born in Greensboro, NC, and moved with my family to Greenville, SC when I was in elementary school.  I grew up in a wonderful Christian home with awesome parents who taught me the Word as early as I can remember.  I got saved at the age of 7, after attending BSF with my dad.   When I was in high school, I began to have a heart for ministry and began to serve in different areas.  I graduated from North Greenville University with a BA in English with a minor in Spanish and Education.  A few fun facts about myself--I enjoy reading & studying literature, exploring & traveling places, cheering on the NC State Wolfpack (it is a must in the Partin family), and spending time with friends.  I am humbled and honored to be a part of  the Mt. Airy staff--I have loved working with the youth group the past few years, and have loved working with the children so far.
