I was born in Anderson, South Carolina, but our family moved to Johnson City, Tennessee when I was only six weeks old, and I consider that "home." God has blessed me with a wonderful wife named Lisa, and three children - Kelly, Lauren and Jonathan. I graduated with a B.A. in Religion from Carson Newman College in Jefferson City, Tennessee. I obtained a Master of Divinity Degree in Theology from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, in Ft. Worth, Texas. In 1996, I graduated from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a Doctor of Ministry degree. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not onyour own understanding. In all your ways acknowledgeHim and He will direct your path." Proverbs 3:5

Steve Robins - Director of Administration/Education
I grew up in Walhalla, South Carolina, and graduated from Clemson University with a B.S. degree in Financial Management. I earned my CPA designation in 1982. My wife, Janet, and I have a son, Brad, who is married to Stephanie. We have two granddaughters, Abby and Reiss. A Bible verse that reflects my thoughts on administration is 1 Corinthians 14:40: "Let all things be done properly and in an orderly manner" (NAS).

Dave Storay - Minister of Worship/Pastoral Care
I am a native of Greenville, South Carolina and a graduate of Berea High School. I have a B.A. in Religion with an emphasis in church music degree from Charleston Southern University. My wife Angela and I have three children, Anna, Joshua, and Jaden. I have served as Minister of Worship since July, 1993 here at Mt. Airy. I have based my ministry on the verses from Ephesians 5:19-20 which reads "Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."

Eric Marvin - Student Pastor
I grew up in Kankakee, IL where my father and grandfather pastored a church for nearly 25 years together. My dad was the Student Pastor and my grandpa was the Lead Pastor; my mother and grandmother also worked at the Christian school that was attached to the church. I graduated college in 2012 from Arlington Baptist College with a degree in Bible and General Studies. I currently attend Anderson University where I’m obtaining a Master of Ministry degree. My wife Amanda and I were married in March 2014. My favorite food is pizza and cookies, but not together. My favorite movies are anything based on comic books involving super heroes.

Chris Meaders - Missions/Discipleship Pastor
I was born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina. I began trusting in Jesus as my Lord when i was 19 and shortly after that I surrendered to a calling to serve in the Church full-time. I graduated from North Greenville University with a B.A. in Religion in May, 2000. I married my beautiful wife Jennifer on May, 2000. We have a daughter named Hallie and a son named Jackson. "However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only Imay finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesushas given me—the task of testifying to thegospel of God's grace." Acts 20:24

Mandy Gilmore - Director of Preschool/Children
I was born and raised in the small town of Benton in North West Louisiana. I moved away for college and have since lived in Central Louisiana, South Louisiana, and Central Mississippi. I received my Bachelor’s degree from Louisiana Tech University in Family and Child Studies and Child Life in 2006. Then I received my Master of Arts in Christian Education with a focus on Children’s Ministry from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 2011. I enjoy baking and working out two very different ends of the health spectrum. One of my favorite verses is Isaiah 41:10, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Lori Acker - Administrative Asst./Financial Secretary
I was born and raised in Easley, SC. and I am a graduate of Easley High School. I have two sons, Evan and Brandon. I began working at Mt. Airy Baptist Church in 2001, first as Receptionist/Secretary and now as Financial/Senior Pastor Ministry Assistant. One of my favorite Bible verses is Psalms 121:1-2: "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth."

Melanie Muller - Church Secretary
I was born in Easley, South Carolina, where I still reside. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Art from Furman University, and I enjoy being able to use my art background and experience to design the many publications and marketing materials for the church. One of my favorite verses has always been Romans 12:2: "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect."
